Ultimate Deck & Dock Formulation

UDF-PRO is a state-of-the-art acrylic based polymer coating that transforms old wood surfaces — in ANY color.  It creates a super tough composite coating that protects structures from the constant expansion and contraction cycle that destroys wood.

In the past, contractors could only offer customers limited options for aging decks and docks:  expensive demolition and replacement or annual staining and sealing.  For many customers, total replacement is cost prohibitive.  While stains and sealers  don’t address the problems of existing cracks, knots, rusting nailheads and splinters, they only re-colorize them.

With UDF-PRO, contractors can now offer customers the option of resurfacing.  UDF-PRO repairs and protects wood surfaces, locking down splinters and nail heads, covering unsightly stains, and  filling checks and knots.

UDF-PRO rolls on a new slip, stain, scuff and fire-resistant surface that requires zero to little maintenance.  The coating can be brushed or rolled on with standard paint equipment and tools clean up with water.  Choice of roller determines the texture.

High-build and quick-setting properties allow contractors to be on-and-off the job quickly.  Dry time between first and second coats is 30 minutes to one hour depending on surface temperature and ambient temperature and humidity.  Light traffic usage of the deck is within 6 to 8 hours of completed application.  Full cure time is 24 hours.  So, time-out-of-service is minimal.

The UDF-PRO kit contains a liquid resin and a dry aggregate.  Add one gallon of ANY color of exterior latex paint to the kit so that color choice is unlimited and color matching can be achieved.

Water-based, VOC-free and non-toxic, UDF-PRO is the earth friendly choice.  Refurbishing existing wood structures with UDF-PRO, prolongs their service life and keeps them out of our landfills.

Any wood structure coated with UDF-PRO is easily repaired if damaged and can be re-coated at anytime if desired.  UDF-PRO is perfect for resurfacing wood decks, docks, porches, steps, ramps, boardwalks, gangways, rails, balusters and fences.
